Nasarawa state Government is to strengthen collaboration with the Federal Radio corporation of Nigeria FRCN in promoting peaceful coexistence, National unity and good Governance.
Governor Abdullahi Sule made this known while playing host to the Zonal Director of FRCN, North Central zone Mallam Babayo Askira and the Management team at the Government house lafia, the state capital.
He Commended the untiring effort and commitment of the North Central Zone of FRCN and it’s FM stations in shaping and changing the narrative for the society through accurate, timely, and balanced reportage
The Governor noted that the Infrastructural development being executed by his administration across the state as identified by the zonal Director were achieved through collective effort and the bold economic reforms taken by President Bola Tinubu.
Governor Sule also gave an assurance for continued support to the zone and promised to consider the request for the construction of a link road to Precious FM lafia .
The zonal Director FRCN North Central zonal headquarters lafia,Mallam Babayo Askira explained that the visit was to familiarize with the Governor and reiterate FRCN’s commitment towards uplifting the people and uniting the nation through accurate and objective reportage to ensure peace ahead of the 2027 general election.
Mallam Askira assured of a closer working relationship between the Nasarawa state Government and FRCN by providing quality news and programmes to publicize activities of the Government to the people
The FRCN Zonal Director was accompanied by General Managers of FM stations and Zonal Heads of Departments.
