Kogi State Commissioner of Police, CP Naziru Bello Kankarofi, says efforts to identify, track, arrest, and prosecute all those responsible for the recent abduction of the principal, a NECO official, and two students of Government Secondary School, Olowa, are ongoing, as security agencies continue to comb the surrounding bushes.
The Commissioner stated this at the Government House, Lokoja, while briefing newsmen on the successful rescue of the abducted victims.
CP Kankarofi assured residents that the Police Command remains resolute in its commitment to protecting lives and property across the state.
He attributed the successful rescue of all the victims to the coordinated efforts of the various security agencies.
The Commissioner added that the victims have since been reunited with the appropriate authorities and are receiving the necessary care and support.
