The Deputy Director, News and Current Affairs, Radio Nigeria North Central Zone, Alhaji Adeiza Momoh Jimoh, has called on staff of Prime FM Lokoja to give their full support to the newly appointed General Manager, Mr. Alfa Yakubu.
Alhaji Momoh Jimoh made the appeal during a formal handing over ceremony held at the station’s premises in Lokoja.
He identified the station’s current location as a major challenge, noting that efforts would be intensified through his new office at the zonal headquarters to facilitate the relocation of the station to Mount Patti, which would enhance its signal coverage and reach.
In his remarks, the new General Manager, Mr. Alfa Yakubu, urged staff to remain committed and united in the face of challenges, stressing the importance of professionalism and teamwork.
Mr. Yakubu assured staff that his administration would be guided by fairness and inclusivity, stating that his leadership would not be influenced by tribal or religious sentiments.
He emphasized that while he does not intend to witch-hunt anyone, tasks must be carried out with utmost professionalism.
Staff members who spoke during the event pledged their full cooperation and support to ensure the success of the new management.
