Authority of Lafia Local Government in Nasarawa State has distributed three thousand Activity, Student-centered, Experiment, and Improvisation, ASEI lesson plan materials to
primary school teachers in the local government area to enhance teaching and learning.
On the occasion of the distribution of the learning materials in Lafia, Chairman of Lafia Local Government Council, Alhaji Muhammad Haliru tasked primary school teachers to always prepare their lesson plan in line with the ASEI standard.
Alhaji Muhammad Haliru who was represented by his chief of staff, Mallam Suleiman Muhammad described teachers as builders of nation who must do their best in impacting positive knowledge to learners.
The Education Secretary of Lafia Local Government Education Authority, Alhaji Usman Aliyu Dogara in a remark assured that a team of supervisors will go round to ensure that teachers complied with set standards to improve quality of teaching and learning.
The Chairman, Nigeria Union of Teachers, Lafia Local Government Area Kwana Aliyu on his part emphasized the need for teachers to judiciously use the lesson plan for effective teaching to build a better future generation of young Nigerians.
