The General Manager of Harvest FM, Makurdi Shimataver Aondoakaa has solicited the support of the staff to rebrand the station to maintain its position as the number one media outfit in the state.



Mr. Aondoakaa who made the appeal during his inaugural meeting with the staff said he has already received briefing from the various heads of departments from which he is putting an actionable plan for implementation.
He stressed the need for the staff to change their attitude towards work, maintaining that henceforth they would be assessed through the Performance Monitoring System, PMS which has become the basis for promotion.
Mr. Aondoakaa expressed appreciation to the Director General of FRCN Dr. Muhammed Bulama and the immediate past North Central Zonal Director, Mallam Haruna Idris for finding him worthy to serve, saying his focus is to ensure that the station is always on air.
The General Manager also commended the staff of Harvest FM for their resilience in making sure that it stays afloat despite the daunting challenges, saying he will operate an open door policy where their ideas and suggestions aimed at developing the station will be considered.
Head of Administration, Mrs. Theresa Uloko advised the staff to take the issue of discipline and work ethics very seriously, saying they are very crucial to the revival and development of the station.
Some of the staff including Felix Ondoma Inalegwu of engineering department, Abraham Aondo news and current affairs and Emmanuel Mary Etunke of Presentation thanked the General Manager for working hard to return the glory of the station and pledged their support.
