Over 300 residents of Jos North Local Government Area have benefited from a free healthcare insurance scheme courtesy of a charity foundation and Plateau State Contributory Healthcare Management Agency PLASCHEMA.
The distribution of health insurance slots, held in Jos, was courtesy of Jos-based philanthropist, Hajiya Raihan Adamu.

In her remarks, the Sponsor of the project, Hajiya Raihan Adamu said the essence is to give back to the society and alleviate financial burdens on individuals and families related to healthcare Costs.
She called on governments to join hands with her to expand the initiative’s reach and impact.
The Desk Officer at PLASCHEMA, Jush Pam, noted that the agency’s partnership with the NGO aligns with their shared goals and objectives.
The Desk Officer from a private hospital in Jos North educated beneficiaries on health insurance best practices and how to maintain their health before seeking medical care.
Beneficiaries of the scheme expressed gratitude to the sponsor and prayed for the continuation and expansion of the initiative to benefit more people in the community.
The ceremony featured the handing over of health insurance cards, lively cultural displays, and group photos.
