The Commissioner of Police in Kogi State, CP Miller G. Dantawaye, has reiterated the need for discipline, commitment, and effective policing among personnel of the Command.
He made the call in Lokoja during the decoration of newly promoted Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs), describing the elevation as a significant career milestone and a call to greater responsibility.
CP Dantawaye charged the officers to uphold the core values of the Force, embrace higher standards of leadership, and deliver improved performance, noting that every new rank comes with increased responsibilities.
The Commissioner commended the officers for their dedication, professionalism, and sacrifices, which he said earned them the promotion and contributed to safeguarding lives and property in the state.
Speaking on behalf of the decorated officers, the Administration Officer of Imane Division, DSP Kai Bernard, expressed gratitude to the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, for the confidence reposed in them.
He assured that the officers would redouble their efforts in combating crime and ensuring the safety of residents across Kogi State.
