The State Head of Service, Dr. Moses Agbogbo-Ode has promised to partner Radio Nigeria Harvest FM to propagate activities of the Alia administration and move the society forward.
Dr. Agbogbo Ode gave the indication today when the General Manager of Harvest FM, Mr. Shimataver Aondoakaa led other management staff to pay him a courtesy visit.
He stressed the importance of the media in the development of the state, noting that Harvest FM is a media outfit of choice because of its professionalism and balanced reportage.
Dr. Agbogbo Ode assured of using his office to link the station with the Government with the hope that it would be assisted to surmount some of its pressing challenges, especially power and other logistics.
The General Manager of Harvest FM, Mr. Shimataver Aondoakaa had earlier highlighted the objectives of the Station to synergize with Ministries, Department and Agencies as well as other stakeholders to disseminate information and get feedback from the people.
Mr. Aondoakaa appealed to the Head of Service to impress on MDAs to patronize Harvest FM based on its wider reach, include staff of the Station in government committees and sponsor some on Christian and Muslim pilgrimages as well as include the station in government palliatives.
The General Manager who also requested a monthly diesel support from the Government, announced that a one hour programme known as ‘The Governor Speaks’ has been created on the station to give the Governor Hyacinth the opportunity to talk to the people about his policies, programmes and achievements.
