The Plateau State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has relocated to its permanent site.
Governor Caleb Mutwfang during the official flag off of the permanent site stated that the relocation was part of his administration’s commitment towards effective service delivery to intending pilgrims in the state.
Governor Mutfwang represented by the Secretary to the government of the state Arch Samuel Jatau said government was committed to addressing issues that have direct bearing on its citizens, hence the relocation, to enable it’s function effectively.

In an address of welcome, the Executive Secretary of the board, Alh. Daiyabu Dauda said the commission’s relocation demonstrates government commitment and respect for the religious and cultural values of the citizens.
Executive Secretary Nasarawa state Pilgrims Welfare Board who doubled as the National chairman of Secretaries of the Pilgrims board of Nigeria, Alh. Idris Al’makura said the edifice was one of the best in the country and applauded plateau state for its effort
Executive Secretary Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board Plateau State, represented by Mrs Helen Abok noted the strong bond between the two boards stating it will improve service delivery.
In his remark, Chairman Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board Plateau state, Alh. Danladi Abdullahi Kwari, explained that, Governor Caleb Mutfwang’s leadership enabled them secure Hajj seats, allowing intending Pilgrims to pay for their seats with ease.
There were goodwill messages from people in government, traditional and religious leaders in the state.
