Underscoring the importance of partnership between the Bureau and the media in promoting transparency and good governance.
The Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB) has reiterated its commitment to strengthen synergy with Radio Nigeria towards promoting integrity, Transparency, and accountability in governance.
Chairman of the Bureau, Dr. Abubakar Bello, made this known during a courtesy visit to the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN), North Central Zonal office in Lafia.
Represented by the North Central Zonal Director of the Bureau, Dr. Ifeanyi Okorocha, underscored the importance of partnership between the two organisations to achieve maximum results through regular sensitization.
He explained that the North Central Zonal Office of the Bureau, headquartered in lafia, commenced full operations in October 2025, with a strategic focus on collaboration, public awareness, and accountability.
Dr Bello emphasized that the Bureau was established to play a critical role in maintaining ethical standards within public service and ensuring compliance with Nigeria’s code of conduct.
In a remark, the Zonal Director of FRCN North Central zone, Mallam Babayo Askira, commended the Bureau for its bold initiative and assured them of FRCN’s maximum support in propagating the activities of the Bureau across its zonal stations. He further encouraged the Bureau to design programs that would enlighten the public about its recent initiatives.
The courtesy visit was attended by the entire management team of the FRCN’s North Central Zonal Office in Lafia.
