Participants at the National Institute for Policy and strategic Studies, NIPPS Kuru have been tasked to come out with policies that will strengthen Nigeria’s creative Economy, stimulate innovation driven development, and promote inclusive National Growth.
Plateau state Governor Caleb Mutfwang stated this at the inauguration of the Senior Executive Course forty Eight held at NIPPS Kuru.
Governor Mutfwang explained that over the years, the institute has remained an intellectual hub for Nigeria, shaping leaders and ideas that influence governance, economic planning and societal transformation.
Represented by the deputy Governor, NGO Josephine Piyo, the Governor noted that Government would continue to provide a conducive environment for learning, research and strategic engagement for national policy and reform.

Mutfwang urged them to come up with recommendations that would contribute toward meaningful development of the State and the Country at large.

Also speaking, Director General of NIPPS Kuru, professor Ayo Omotayo, reminded the participants to see their Selection as a call to National service which demands intellectual discipline, ethical leadership that is opened to diverse perspectives and commitment to a collective good of the Country.
Professor Omotayo challenged the participants to approach the course with curiosity and a strong sense of purpose.

Highpoint of the event was oath taken by the participants administered by chief Judge of plateau state, justice David Mann.
The theme for this year’s course forty eight is Orange Economy and Entrepreneurship for sustainable Development in Nigeria.
