Christians have been urged to live in the reality of the newness of life made possible through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
The State Pastor of Living Faith Church, Lokongoma in Lokoja, Pastor Israel Olajumoke, gave the charge in his Easter message to the church.
Pastor Olajumoke who described Easter as a celebration of the resurrection power of Christ, called on believers to understand and fully embrace the significance of Christ’s sacrifice on the cross of Calvary for the liberation of humanity.
He noted that the resurrection of Jesus Christ symbolises hope for all people, regardless of their circumstances.
The cleric added that the season also represents freedom and liberty, urging Christians to reflect these virtues in their daily lives.
