President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has emerged victorious in the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primary election held in Kwara State.
Announcing the result at the APC Collation Centre in Ilorin, the Kwara State Governor and Collation Officer, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, said President Tinubu polled 310,990 votes to defeat his lone challenger, Stanley Osifo, who scored no vote.
Governor AbdulRazaq stated that a total of 457,374 party members were registered in the state, while 310,990 voters were accredited and participated in the exercise.
He subsequently declared President Tinubu winner of the primary election, having secured the highest number of votes and satisfied the requirements of the party.
