278 contingents from Nasarawa State have arrived Asaba, the Delta State capital, safely, ahead of the commencement of the 9th National Youth Games.
The Athletes, Officials, and Coaches who spoke to Radio Nigeria Precious FM expressed confidence that they are in Asaba to compete for glory across various sporting events.
Speaking after the Team
Upon arrival in Asaba, the Director of Sports, Ministry of Youths and Sports Development, Uba Musa, expressed the belief that Nasarawa State contingents will not only participate but also contend for laurels, noting that the Athletes are well prepared for the task ahead.
Nasarawa State will participate in twenty-two sporting activities, namely, Athletics, Ayo, Badminton, Boxing, Chess, Cycling, Dart, Football, Golf, Hockey, Judo, Karate, Kokawa, and Kung Fu Wushu.
Wrestling.
The 9th National Youth Games will feature 37 sports, with over six thousand athletes and Coaches.
