Professor Olufolake Abdulrazaq, the wife of the Kwara State Governor, has urged men to prioritize their health.
Professor Abdulrazaq gave this advice at a sensitization and Prostate Specific Antigen testing exercise, held at the State Headquarters of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW, Ilorin.
Represented by the Commissioner for Environment, Nafisat Buge, the Kwara First Lady acknowledged the role of the union members and encouraged them to present themselves for the screening facilitated by her office, the Ajike People Support Center, the State Ministry of Health, and Bio Ventures for Global Health.
In her address, the State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Amina El-Imam, highlighted efforts of the government in delivering quality healthcare, and commended the wife of the governor for completing this drive through her health interventions.
Earlier, State Chairman of the NURTW, Alhaji Abdulrazaq Ariwoola, commended Professor Abdulrazaq for always considering the union in her health interventions.
The Prostate Specific Antigen test was conducted on members of the Union while officials of the Ministry of Health were on the ground to take vitals of the Union members.
