The A360 Amplify Project, implemented by the Society for Family Health, SFH, in Nasarawa State, recently handed over essential medical consumables and materials to the Nasarawa State Primary Health Care Development Agency, NAPHDA.
The handover ceremony, held at the NAPHDA office in Lafia, brought together key health officials and stakeholders committed to advancing adolescent health services across the state.
Receiving the items on behalf of the Agency, the Executive Secretary of NAPHDA, Dr. Usman Iskilu Saleh, expressed heartfelt appreciation to SFH for its ongoing support and collaboration.

Dr. Saleh highlighted the significant contributions of the A360 Amplify Project to the state’s healthcare system, particularly in enhancing access to quality Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health, MNCH, services and adolescent-friendly Sexual and Reproductive Health (ASRH) services.
He emphasized the importance of the donated supplies in sustaining service delivery at high-volume health facilities throughout Nasarawa State.
’I thank the Society for Family Health for this generous donation. These supplies are vital to ensuring our health centres continue to provide essential services to adolescents, especially married girls, who often face unique reproductive health challenges. We are committed to ensuring that all items received are promptly and efficiently distributed to the facilities that need them most’, Dr. Saleh stated.
The A360 Amplify Project’s strategic support aims to bolster the long-term sustainability of ASRH programs by equipping healthcare providers with the tools necessary to deliver uninterrupted, high-quality services.
This initiative aligns with broader state and national objectives to improve adolescent health outcomes and empower young people with the knowledge and services needed to make informed decisions.
The partnership between SFH and NAPHDA underscores a shared commitment to strengthening the primary healthcare system for adolescents. It ensures that the progress achieved through the project will be sustained beyond its active implementation phase.
Through collaborative leadership and innovative approaches, the project has played a pivotal role in reducing barriers to care and improving the health and well-being of married adolescent girls in Nasarawa State.
As this handover marks a significant milestone, both organizations reaffirm their dedication to sustaining impact and building healthier futures for the youth of Nasarawa, ultimately contributing to stronger, more resilient communities.
